About Our Firey Trails Event Calendar  -  Firey Trails is technically open for most of the year, but realistically we only do a handful of events outside our peak Seasonal Calendar in the Fall, at least currently.  Our peak seasonal calendar is  the period that falls between between the middle of September (as the summer heat starts to break) and the first week-end in December (as bouts of winter weather start setting in.)  Since we've been doing this for some time now, we've become very cognizant of this brief season of time during the year when events can be scheduled. We've come to find out that 95% of people who schedule with us want an event on a week-end, mainly on Friday or Saturday evenings (for obvious reasons.)  Because this seasonal period is only a little over 2 ½ months long, that means that there are only a limited amount of week-end time frames that we can offer for events while the weather is ideal (or close to ideal).  Of the time frames available, there are only 17 Prime Time spots (Oct. & Nov. Fri & Sat evenings) and approximately 31 all other Non-Prime time frames on the week-end-making a total of 48.  During a typical season, we schedule around 95% of prime time spots and 75-80% overall in week-end time frames available.  Of course, the prime time spots are the most sought after and first to be scheduled and first to be in short supply (and also are the ones repeat groups request a year in advance).  The other time frames within the season fill in fairly well every year (especially during Oct. & Nov.) with a few here and there booked in Sept. and Dec.  Between repeat groups booking a year in advance and the increasingly popular birthday parties, and the versatility of our facilities for other various events and the overall adult and kid appeal – that is why dates run out earlier every year (and more and more, we have to turn some website viewers / callers away because we have no week-end dates left for their event.)  This is also one reason we structure the rates as we do and require a deposit for each scheduled event.  We are hoping to improve our facilities and offerings making it practical to schedule throughout the year and not just the Fall season (but realize the Fall will always be our peak time.)  So check back in the future for the improvements we are planning to this end.  For now, we thought we would give just a little more insight into the  workings of our Event Calendar and explain why we sometimes run short of dates.  Thanks for reading.

Our schedule is very flexible.  Most week-ends (Friday & Saturday) beginning in May will be available for advance scheduling (including Sundays evenings in October & November).   We do not have week days listed but are also open to scheduling through the week (especially when weekend dates are sparse.)  Please call or email to check on availability.  Call well in advance to schedule any dates in the autumn time of the year (especially week-ends in October & November), as this is always our peak time and these dates fill up fast.  As you can see from the table below, we are open to scheduling other dates throughout the year - call for availability.

 Below is a table showing dates already reserved.  We do require a  $75 Deposit  (made payable to FIREY TRAILS) upon your reserving a date.  We will post your date as soon as you schedule but consider it to be only tentative and an Unsecured Event until your deposit is in hand.  Our receipt of your deposit should be within 10 days after your event is scheduled.  In the case that your event is to happen sooner than the ten day due date, please mail your check immediately after booking so we receive it by at least a week out from your event date.

Recommended Hayride Time Frame:  The typical Hayride Event usually fits well into a time frame of approximately three hours  -  start to finish.  We are flexible on this but find a 3 hour time frame seems to be ample in most cases for the hayrides, campfire fellowship or singing, games & activities, exploring, etc.)  The most practical and typical time frames are listed to the left and work well with work and school schedules and our own Firey Trails schedule.  The Saturday time frames need to be scheduled to allow a little time in between for preparation between events.  However, we are open to tweaking the time frames to your liking if at all possible.  As time frames become scarce, we can also schedule Saturday Morning time frames (10:30-1:30).  These time frames work well for small kids' parties and senior citizens.

Below is a link to a color coded updated PDF Calendars - showing ONLY open unscheduled week-end time frames still available.  This calendar is updated immediately (barring internet service interruptions) upon our scheduling a group.   Also, dates are scheduled by guests and then need to be rescheduled for various reasons.  For that reason, check the calendar more than once for potential openings that may appear.  Thanks
